China and U.S. will Develop In-depth Cooperation on Health Care


The 8th U.S.-China Health Summit was inaugurated on October 12th, 2018 in Chengdu City, China. At the opening, Liu Qian, President of Chinese Hospital Association, said that even though China and the U.S. were in different national conditions, they were facing similar challenges on improving people’s health and on reforming and developing the pharmaceutical and healthcare fields.

According to Liu Qian, the Third round of Track II Dialogue on U.S-China Health would be held on November 5th, 2018 in Washington D.C., the U.S. Both sides were actively preparing and promoting the establishment of a union that joined hospitals in China and the U.S. Both sides would work together to strengthen the further cooperation between medical institutions in China and the U.S. More inspirations would be ignited fields like the exploration in hospital management, the improvement of medical services quality, research and development of new drugs, and the reform of medical insurance payment system.
