The 3rd U.S.-China Health Summit
The 3rd Summit was held during the celebration of the centennial anniversary of the Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health. Zhu Chen, the Vice Chairman of the National People’s Council Standing Committee, gave a video greeting. Nils Daulaire, Assistant Secretary for Global Affairs, Office of Global Affairs, U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, and Julio Frenk, Dean of Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health, delivered keynote speeches. The Summit’s special guests included Yixin Zeng, President of Peking Union Medical College; Liming Li, Chairman of Peking Union Medical College; Qing Yang, Director of the Primary Health Department, China National Health and Family Planning Commission; Tom Kenyon, Director, Center for Global Health, U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention; Michael Klag, Dean of the School of Public Health at Johns Hopkins University; and more than 200 other healthcare leaders.
